On September 15th, President Zhang Yunhua visited international students and extended holiday greetings to everyone. Zhang Yunhua hopes that through active participation in the series of Mid-Autumn Festival activities organized by the school, students will learn about excellent traditional Chinese culture, and experience China, understand China, and know China better. The international students presented holiday cards to the president, writing sincere blessings both in Chinese characters and in their own languages, expressing their gratitude to the school. Distinguished alumnus Guan Jiefeng participated in the activity and presented to the students mooncakes with characteristics of the hometown of overseas Chinese.

On the same day, the International School of Education organized teachers and students to visit the China Qiaodu Museum of Overseas Chinese for a study tour. Immersed in the museum, teachers and students attentively listened to on-site explanations and experiencedtangible historical scenes, as if crossing through time and space to relive the vivid stories behind the exhibited artifacts. They truly felt the patriotic and hometown-loving sentiments and the spirit of hard struggle of overseas Chinese, and gained a deep understanding of the history and culture of the hometown of overseas Chinese.

On the afternoon of September 17th, the School of International Education held a Mid-Autumn Festival celebration event, including choir singing, guzheng performance, holiday cards exchanging, lantern riddle guessing, and Touhu (arrow-throwing) activities. This is a cultural feast for teachers and students to gather on campus, to discuss the meaning of Mid-Autumn Festival, to enhance mutual understanding and communication, and to feel the deep affection of reunion across mountains and seas. On that special evening, at the university's "Music Fills the Mid-Autumn, Love Fills the Campus" concert, teachers and students sang "When Will the Bright Moon Appear" together, expressing their longing for their loved ones and their aspirations for a beautiful life.

For the first time this year, the School of International Education has admitted undergraduate students from Pacific Island countries and students in the "2+2" Sino-foreign joint training program. It fully leverages the role of culture in education, utilizes rich cultural resources of the hometown of overseas Chinese, and promotes cultural exchange and identity through colorful cultural courses and activities. Looking ahead, the School of International Education will continue to adhere to an open-door policy in running the school, focus on student development, integrate cultural education into every aspect of talent training, and make solid progress in international student education and the "2+2" joint training program. The goal is to build the school's international education brand and cultivate high-quality, applied, and outstanding talents with an international perspective.
