The University of Wollongong (UOW), established in 1951, is located in Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia. It is a significant member of the Universitas 21, the Association of Pacific Rim Universities, and the Association of Commonwealth Universities. In order to further expand its international perspective, UOW established a branch campus in Dubai, UAE, in 1993, becoming the first foreign university in the country.
